the faces hoodie
I created this piece to wear the day of the Senior Fashion Show at Syracuse University. I made something that would directly connect me to my collection.
I made this hoodie out of the fabric scraps I had from the collection including french terry and fleece lined cotton jersey.
Connecting this piece to my senior collection is the reoccurring appliqué faces, use of patch work, and the colors.
This piece is one of my favorites!

My process for making this piece developed naturally as I cut scraps and aligned them with my pattern pieces. The pattern derived from look six in my collection and I modified it to fit me. The face placement was strategic in order to add weight to the french terry fabric and balance the medium weight fleece lined fabric.
